Task

Brand the annual conference to theme and produce all event swag, wayfinding, and digital presentation markers. Work with local vendors to produce all collateral.

frank19 : space

Space is essential to create anything. Whether it be physical distance, unspoken sentiments or establishing an inclusive environment, space can be filled or emptied as we see fit. This theme was evoked through the use of layers and color gradients.

I collaborated to develop the overall branding and was specifically responsible for the water bottle, lanyard, pronoun pins, frank2020 anticipatory pin, ambassador pin, event wayfinding, and side bag.


frank2020 : the science of emotion

Successful communication appeals to the underlying empathy and emotions of the people you are trying to convince. There’s a science to why we react the way we do, and understanding this can generate successful, long-term change. Emotional empathy can lead to more effective communication. Iconography mixed with color were used to capture this theme.

I was responsible for the entire brand/art direction (color palette, typefaces, logo, and icon system), water bottle, program & name tag, lanyard, and the “Guide to Joy” save the date.
